The Italian portal dedicated to e-commerce has been renewed! New graphics, new contents, but, above all, a new way to learn about the world of electronic commerce.
After more than a year after his birth, and an almost unexpected success, Ecommerce Guru gets a fresh new look!
Not more the usual blog!
The new head of Ecommerce Guru originates from the need to be different from so many blogs, very often quite similar, on the network. With the new graphic, we chose to offer the visitors a different experience. An experience that in some way linked the emotional aspect with the information and divulgate ones.
Starting from this premise, for the construction of the new site, we decided to inspire us with paper magazines. The underlying idea is that, in fact, is to merge into a single product the emotional impact came from the covers of the magazine with the hypertextuality, interactivity and multimedia provided by blog .
The cover page
Certainly, the aspect that jumps to the eye at first glance is the new home page. Its graphics is very much reminiscent of paper magazines that we are accustomed to seeing in the newsagents. With this choice, we decided to give more space to the stories, the characters and more interesting businesses.
Another function performed by the new home page is to organize in a different way the set of articles in the portal. As the paper magazines, in fact, the news organization not simply follows their publication date, but it is based on a logic of an editorial nature, privileging some news, rather than other, based on their degree of interest.
We have chosen to dedicate the first cover to Zalando and its case history. Zalando, besides being one of the first reality that has believed in the old project, will also be the protagonist of the new header with a new article that will be published on its third year of business in Italy.
Not only form but also substance
Although the new graphics is the novelty that is immediately noticed, it is not the only one. With the new portal, Ecommerce Guru has undergone a change not only formal but also substantial.
This means that the renewal is also at the level of content. In fact, thanks to the support of new external collaborators, the information offered will be more broad and diverse. In this way will we be able to provide content always new, fresh, and interesting and that recount the different aspects that make up the electronic trade.
