Silmax has a very long history, which traces the centuries and stops at the beginning of the nineteenth century, when in 1819 Paul Alessio, using the iron extracted from the mines of the Lanzo Valleys, began to forge his first tools by hand, with only help of the driving force torn from the waters of the nearby torrent. The small workshop, found in 1955 by the Fumagalli family, the current owners, was called, then, “L’Usine”. Today Silmax has a completely different dimension, an international spirit, acquired with the creation of offices in India, China and Germany and aims to maintain high quality of its products and the satisfaction of its customers.
