We live in a completely digital world. Thanks to the technological development we have been witnessing, in recent years, an evolution in the way of conceiving and creating traditional products / services. The electronic cigarette, together with e-commerce, are an example of this trend in progress. Today, we would like to present you the case hystory of the Electronic Cigarette Outlet, an online store on the most fashionable product in recent times: the e-cig.

The idea of creating a site for online sales of electronic cigarettes is by Massimiliano Grand, a young entrepreneur from Turin with a strong passion for this type of product. However, the idea alone is not enough. It is necassary, in fact, to be able to transform the idea into a concrete project capable of generating profit.

To realize his project, Massimiliano Grand decided to contact the ecommerce agency Jusan Network. The process of creating the Electronic Cigarette Outlet has gone through several phases: from listening to customer needs, analyzing the market, proposing possible solutions to sharing the strategy, from developing the platform to web marketing activities (see how we work). The final result of this long design and implementation process is an ecommerce website tailored to the characteristics of the product and the target audience.

Once the main points of the project were defined, the first step was to create a logo for the Outlet of the Electronic Cigarette. As we know, the logo is a central aspect of corporate communication, as it allows to summarize within a graphic sign the values and characteristics that distinguish a brand. As you can see, the logo of the Electronic Cigarette Outlet consists of two letters: the “O” and the “S”.

Combined together, the two letters recall the act of svapare (term used by consumers of e-cig). The letter “O” represents the mouth, the letter “S” instead represents both the steam and the e-cig. The red box, also called inside the Naming, is the colored led present at the end of the e-cig that is accessed during the act of svapare.

After defining the project and creating the logo, the real ecommerce development phase began, on the PrestaShop platform, the leading ecommerce solution in Italy and Europe.

The ecommerce of the Outlet of the Electronic Cigarette counts on a prevalence of images that show in detail the products on sale, helping to give more breathing to the different sections of the site and providing the user with a more emotional impact. To give more emphasis to the products, it was decided not to enrich the site with useless and not very functional graphic tinsel.

Everything has been studied to focus the attention of consumers exclusively on items for sale and their technical characteristics.

Another central aspect in the development activity concerned the optimization of the search engine platform. This is a matter of primary importance, since a SEO Friendly site helps on one hand the positioning of the offer on some strategic keywords, and on the other it constitutes a solid basis for the subsequent Web Marketing activities.

Finally, the question connected to the Responsive must not be underestimated. Providing consumers with the opportunity to browse their online shop from any device (desktop and mobile), allows you to follow their customers throughout their purchase process: from the search for information to the comparison of products, from the choice of purchase to the conclusion of the transaction.
